I live near Volterra on a farm with my husband Luigi, our little Alice and two perpetually hungry cats, Angus and Marla. I have a degree in archaeology from Siena and have worked in different areas both in Italy and abroad. When I returned I worked in the archaeological museum in Volterra as a guide for school students and then co-managed an archaeological park on Elba Island.
These last experiences made me appreciate outreach, so I decided to become a tour guide-the best choice of my life! I love meeting new people and sharing my passion for history and art with them. I meet people from all over Italy and abroad: this is an opportunity for me to learn about other histories and cultures, a kind of endless journey, fantastic!
I love this job and I love doing it in Tuscany, a region where art, history, nature and traditions are perfectly balanced. In fact, with my husband, who is an environmental guide, we also organize some nature walks. If you'd like to stay updated on our outings sign up for the mailing list! I hope to meet you soon in Tuscany. In the meantime, you can find me every day on social. See you soon, Luisa.
